Local Interests

1. Scenic Float Trips in Cooper Landing
    By Alaska Rivers Company-(907) 595-1226
Owner Gary Galbraith & son, Leon. Scenic Kenai river float trips right here in Cooper Landing or fishing trips on the Kenai or in Resurrection Bay in Seward. Prices and times vary so call Gary for more info.

Alaska Wildland Adventures-(800) 478-4100
20+ years of floating the river. Larger business offering scenic float trips and guided fishing  trips.

2. Glacier Viewing
Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise (out of Seward)-(800) 478-8068 (I’ve done this cruise three times myself and I’ve loved it all three times) This trip is great in every month. I recommend the National Park Tour that departs at 11:30, cruises to Holgate Glacier and returns at 5:30. This will give you time to have breakfast and a
leisurely drive to Seward in the morning and there’s enough time when you get back to have a quiet dinner at Ray’s Waterfront Restaurant. I recommend reservations for Ray’s and do request a window table so you can see the sea lions or sea otters if they swim by.

Russian River Falls where salmon can be seen jumping the falls. The trail is about 2.5 miles    long (one way) and is an easy walk. Go to the top of the driveway, turn right, go 4 miles and
